Tested on 3.0.17

This modification alters the free shipping module to allow for:

• Free shipping over a variable amount set by you.
• Dynamic text to be input by you that shows in the checkout.
• Still allows all other shipping modules to work (only works from the subtotal).

Very simple to install.
